Reading Course and Seminar Lee Lindblom Caltech Abstract: This talk will give an introduction to the Einstein evolution equations. A variety of issues will be discussed including the importance of choosing gauge conditions appropriately, constraints and constraint damping, and various boundary condition issues. In addition, due to the learning curve this first week, the first 30 seconds of the talk are missing from the recording; they were mainly some general introductory comments about what was coming. Have a look at the PDF of the slides for the first slide that you do not see appearing in the video. -mjh) [ Back to MNGR Seminar Series Schedule ] |
